The Docile label surfaces to give us a breath of fresh air again. Always eclectic, here Mr. Garcia gives us a nice variety of thought provoking but not pretentious techno.

On A it's a deep excursion into the void with the guts to try something new. Bizarre meets functional in this revolving soundscape of rhythm and sound.

B1 takes us to the electronic disco. Not filtered disco house loops, but a neo-retro-disco-tech flavor that comes at you with that rubber band twang, yet staying clear of chi-town ghetto flavor with a warmer melody. Slight nuances in the melody pluck away at your brain and works well in the mix.

B2 is for the purist minimal techno enthusiast. A unique understated kick drum starts things off somewhat grungey and off kilter. The alarm goes off when the bellowing deep harbor horn, that sounds like some eerie mating call of alien humback whales, introduces a wake-up call to the doubters. A distant soundscape develops while keeping you locked into a dark hypnosis of well timed beats, moving you slowly to the unsuspecting crescendo.
