i think all this negative comments are made by people who wasn't there at the begining of all this rave euphoriaso i think they can't handle the sound of 1991.as they ride on the vawe od 2000's
Kalrajas
I was there when this came out and thought it was crap compared to his other stuff. Thought it was cheesy rave. LOVED Beltram 1 and 2 and his Mentasm stuff, but not this.
Natety
Full on Belgium Techno from Joey Beltram.Huge tune back in 1991 - pack full of energy with its driving techno rhythms, huge synth rave stabs and a whole load of other sample put to great effect. Take your pick on the mixes they are both checking out.
Landamath
God knows what Joey Beltram was on when he came up with this one, but compared to "Joey's Riot", "Energy Flash" or "Code 6" you would swear it was by a different artist altogether. The only point of comparison is in the drum programming ! Definitely one to avoid for true Beltram fans.

lol @ true Beltram fans - fandom this is what music wrecks. Awesome track which caused serious brock out on the floors.
MOQ
The sound isn't just coming from Joey it was also produced by G. Le Fosse & V. Calderone* AKA Program 2.
Katishi
ALSO INCLUDES SAMPLE OF LED ZEPPELINS "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE"
Zymbl
I have to disagree Andy... still holds as much energy as it did back then. It's a belter!
Darkshaper
Hahhahahha....just silly now. I love Joey Beltram more than his Mum but this isn't one of his better productions. I thought it was great 20 years ago when Disco Biscuits were the in-thing but time moves on and sadly, compared to tunes like Energy Flash, Mind To Mind and Joey's Riot, it doesn't hold water. Still, it raises a smile.
Frdi
Is it okay to both like oldskool rave AND minimal techno?
Carrot
I'm with Andy. None of the quality of a Beltram tune in evidence here, just a cliché every 4 bars
Bolanim
have to agree here I like all Joey's stuff this is no different Omen is a great track maybe nostalgia but I would listen to this today and I'm back in the day.
Macage
Guess it depends on what you look for in a track!I love The Omen, but then again I am a fan of oldschool rave in general. This won't appeal to people who prefer the more straight, minimal techno approach.
