Don't know if anyone has noticed but one side is mixed louder than the other, real shame ...
Maman
Finally listening to mine and DAMMIT that is annoying!! Side B is very clearly much quieter. And here I was, all excited because I just listened to the RATM XX picture disc version and (of course) it was way too quiet & crackly; and Side A of this guy sounded WAY better. Pretty fantastic, actually. And now here I am on Side B, cranking the shit way more than I want... Annoying, especially with headphones. Good thing it's a clean pressing, at least. Washed it, too.But still... Why, MOV?!
Gabar
Definitely correct.. If they did this on purpose due to space constraints, then shame on them. I’d have rather they made side A just as quiet as side B with a bit of extra dead wax than to make us all mess with the volume between sides. Very surprised by this seeing how it’s a MOV release.
Zovaithug
my copy has the same exact issue. Side A is perfect and side B is mastered way lower in volume.
Fordredor
YES!! At first I was like... hm? Luckily I use a DJ mixer so I compared the output levels which are visulaised by small LED lights, and there I noticed that Side B ist substantially quieter.Oh well, I guess they tried to fit all songs on one side and hat to reduce the volume in order to achieve enough space for the grooves. Doesn't diminish the great sound quality though. Just crank up the volume ;DAnnoying though, I get it ;)
Quellik
Yep i noticed that. Just turn it up, no problems... it may be due to side length, i havent really checked the running time....
Shliffiana
WOW. Absolutely amazing press. Loud, crisp, and punchy. Not a single snap crackle or pop.
Manona
This Music On Vinyl pressing is THE cleanest piece of vinyl I've heard. Not one pop or click in it's entirety, and MOV deserves some love for that.
Asher
No it doesn't. They reserve those for soundtracks. ten words
Uriel
I have three music on vinyl albums and all sound the best of my collection besides pink Floyd. A company that owns up to it's premium reissue label. They mean what they say. Does this have a premium jacket like natural born killers and lost highway?
Simple fellow
It's a quiet press. Really got crank it up. I wasn't that impressed.
Delari
Just bought a copy and couldn't agree with you more. MOV has it together.
Purebinder
Completely agree.
Mavegar
What is the sound quality like besides it being void of pops & clicks?
