Metal-influenced a la At The Gates with a emotional tinge that was popular for American bands of the moment. Big, professional recording quality on this side as well. I believe this release fell into obscurity at a time when the hardcore scene was super-saturated with the style these two bands represent. Of the bands around at this specific crossroads of hardcore history, these guys are better than most.
