Released August, 1997. Recalled/withdrawn and replaced by another version of C3K 65298, r2820073, in October, 1997
This version has:
1. A sticker on the shrink wrap with the number 65298-S1. The slipcase front color is a true gray, compared with the reddish-gray of the replacement graphics.
See also the differences in the runouts of the two versions.
This recalled version was released only in the USA and may be limited to 5,000 copies.
2. "Baby, Let Me Follow You Down" (track 1-2) has a published and actual duration of 2:13. The spoken introduction by Dylan is truncated (it starts with "Ric's a blues guitar player . . .")
3. "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" (track 1-4) does not fade out and has a published and actual duration of 2:45.
4. "I Don't Believe You" is from Manchester, 17 May 1966 (later to be remixed, remastered and released on The Bootleg Series Vol. 4 - Live 1966).
5. "Mixed Up Confusion" is a stereo version of the 1962 single. (The original Biograph version was from the version on Masterpieces.)

Packaged in cardboard slip case. Discs housed in triple disc jewel case. Includes a 65-page color booklet. SBM Super Bit Mapping remastering.
