The first pressing (clear variant) was supposed to be limited to 300, but 400 copies were accidentally pressed. The extra 100 were put away and forgotten about until Iodine found them in storage. They printed 100 alternative black and white jackets, hand numbered them, and were released through Iodine Records.

The story is real. I’m the guy who ran Iodine. Records were in storage for about 13 years and didn’t know they were there. Wanted to get them out to fans so printed the new covers since I only had the records.

So those extras got put in storage, and then an Iodine employee stumbled upon them and they released it on the website with the black and white jacket they made specifically for those and hand numbered them. This is just from research I’ve done and the story is the same everywhere I’ve read. I’d be open to it in the future possibly!

Yup - these are the extra 100 that were tucked away/forgot about, and then found and got released with the alternative jacket. I have two copies.
