Slight misprint of track timing on label D - Track 2 has no timing given while Track 3's timing is given as Track 2 !White sleeve has "Bruce Springsteen The River" printed on front. May also have a sticker with the following info "(P) 1980 Original sound recording made by Bruce Springsteen CBS Records are the exclusive licensees for the UK". White blank center labels. Some copies include photocopied lyric sheets stapled together.Double album with round-cut printed inner thin card sleeves, folded lyric insert in a single cover; initial copies issued with removable sticker on the front with Category CBS 88510.
Labels present two Categorys:
S CBS 88510 at 9 o'clock on both discs and
S CBS 84622 at 3 o'clock on disc 1 and
S CBS 84623 on disc 2
