Denver-area grinders, Carrion Crawler, recorded their ambitious concept album, “Noize In Da Hood” in the winter of 2000 in J-Nutt$’ basement on an analog 1/4” 8 track. The album was finished and advance copies were sent out, but when the “gangster grind” culture they imagined and satirized became a reality, they pulled the plug on the project worried people would take it seriously. Quite a few of these got out at shows as advance copies, but it never saw a proper release.
