I wonder how rare these actually are? Perhaps they aren't really "strictly limited" to 475 at all. The hand-numbering on the back certainly means little.

Why would I say that? Well, it turns out my copy, like the one shown here, is *also* numbered 112/475. How many others are also number 112? Or how many duplicate numberings might there be of other supposedly "unique" numbered copies.

it's quite clear, also, that my copy was not hand-numbered by the same hand (or even using the same implement!) that numbered the copy shown here: the '1' and '2' show distinctive characteristics.

Re-edited to remove text already in the notes (one of my first submissions on discigs). A brief review instead: this a lovely produced set of two masters of free improvisation. The price is quite dear and for many that means they essentially will never hear this outstanding music.I certainly highly recommend picking up a copy while they are still somewhat available. Given the price point, this will find a place in diehard collectors collections and as such likely will only rarely be offered for sale.I certainly can't imagine selling my copy. Basically, once it's gone, it's gone for good except on rare occasions.
