Chet Baker Quartet - Quartet: Russ Freeman Chet Baker Mp3

This release certainly has a nice sound to it.
From the few early jazz pressings I have, this is one of the better ones.
Its got nice dynamics, soundstaging with the instruments separated and mixed well.
It even has some nice bass which is rare for the time.
The drums are a tad recessed to my liking but still well defined.
If you are able to find a minimally worn copy then play it decently loud and you should almost be there in the studio.
