In theory this scared the shit out of me. Take one of hip-hop's greatest exponents, a disco diva and add a 2-step master to the mix equation. Not necessarily the most obvious connection and one that can equally spell disaster as success. Thankfully it's the latter, as MJ ruffs up the beats at a faster-paced tempo almost totally alien to his usual 'sound'. Yet with Chaka wailing with appropriate melodrama, plus an array of fluid guitar riffs, swooping strings and delicate piano-lines all colliding at the song's climax, it's the perfect marriage.
