Devize & 3A - Look Out / Do Wot U Like Mp3

"Look Out" is something of an overlooked classic. With it's bendy rumble Mr-Oiso "Flat Beat" style bassline and neatly tapping four-square steppin rhythm, this is a tune that will satisfy the head-nodders and those who head out for the floor.

Structured more like a techno track than most d&b, this eschews the big breakdowns and drops in favour of more subtle dynamics. Little touches like occasional bars where the rhythm is randomized, and some subtle Jonzun Crew vocoder smples run throughout the track.

A very distinctive sound and one that always attracts attention. Probably the best of the earlier stage of 3D Mode's output, from the Kool FM Midlands days. I'm not so familiar with their output since 2002.
