Ways of Peace is just OK, but One by One stands up as a very high quality track with tight production values.

From the distinctive pitched clap to the driving, distorted bassline, the introduction is fantastic to mix with. Later come acid lines as the production drifts into dreamland and a joyous melody snakes its way in. The enemy forces sample works well.

One critisism, is that the track begins to lose a little pace and creativity in the second half, as the producer repeats the theme a little too much. This is fine though and there is nothing untoward here, it's just that the bar is set so high in the first half you expect much more. However, there are ample great opportunities to cue up and bring in the next track, so it's all good. From the copies I've seen, the record is chunky and well pressed and one of those that just seems to sit tight and hold its speed well on the 1210s, another bonus when mixing.

The track has always been relatively expensive and this is probably due to its popularity in the North East scene where certain records tend to hold their value. It is also becoming increasingly rare as people seem to want to hold onto their copies, so prices will be on the up, if you can even find it.

All in all a freeform gem and if seen in the right condition and price should be snapped up immediately.
