This is a top quality EP of authentic sounding oldskool hardcore breaks. With heavy 1992-1995 influences on all of the tracks with a heavy focus on the breakbeats. Jedi & Stormtrooper's 'Old Skool Flava (Remix)' is a pounding 1994-1995 style hardcore track with MC Marley announcing the call of 'Original old skool flava!' to the masses. Jedi's own 'Rock To The Max' lifts elements from the aforementioned Ellis Dee and New Era tracks and makes a fine tune which could easily fit into any oldskool set without anyone noticing it was released in 2011.

'Bad Meaning Good' retains that original 1992 sound combining piano stabs, hip-hop vocals and an extremely familiar lift from a certain Micky Finn & Bay B Kane remix. Then it's fast forward to 1994-'95 with uplifting breakbeat, happy hardcore style, 'Rock U All Nite'. All in all a nice variety of styles, all on an uplifting tip. Sorted!

Track A1 is a faster remix of "Old Skool Flava" from B2VOS EP 3. Track A2 is a mash up of Ellis Dee's "Rock to the Max" and "New Era" by New Era. Track B1 has a similar riff to "Pennywise Remix" by Neuromancer. Finally, track B2 is a 94-95 'happy hardcore' style track that samples Basement Phil - "We Can Rock It."
