Goldcrusher

This is easily one of the strongest amen based tunes of 1993. It's extremely simmilar to FBD Project "The Core". This tune might actually be sampling the same amen loop from that tune.

What makes this tune stand out is it's choice of breakdown. Junk himself wouldn't tell me where he got it but from what I've heard the string breakdown comes from some scifi sound recording published by the BBC which doesn't narrow things down. From what I gather most of Junk's work comes from this same sample source.

The flip side is a remix of the main track and somehow its not quite as strong as the original.

This one is well worth getting if you like this flavor of darkside 1993 'ardkore jungle. I already had it on Junk's recent 12" album but I just had to get the overpriced original 12" because I like it so much.
