Notes

Subtitled: A Preskool Break Mix
The original mix is from 1994, apparently limited to Japan. The CD was released at least twice, as noted by the different markings found on the underside hub of the CD.

As others have said, one of the best mixtapes of all time!If anyone has 'trainspotted' the complete list of tracks, I want the list because I hate having cue sheets for mixes on my PC with TITLE "unknown track" and PERFORMER "unknown artist"!!I think you know what I'm saying :)

What we have here is hands down the best mixtape of all time. A ridiculous statement I know but I'm prepaired to stand by it. You say to yourself a great mixtape should contain 20 plus tracks of your all time favorites.Bullshit. What it needs is what Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze has. Classic breaks, the ones you know & even better the ones you don't. Artistic beat mixing & pattern making. 100mph skratching. & for comic relief soundbites from television & film. Aptly named 'A Preskool Breakmix',this shit is the blueprint! Q-Bert's a madman & as we now know the most technically correct turntablist on the block, remember people this shits some 14 years old and there's not many that have come close to it in that time, if you don't already have it I strongly encourage all lovers of music to get a copy, it's been re-released in the last few years & if you can't find it locally, download it. A musthave.

serious Diskotron? so youre saying Disk did all of the scratches on that? Doesnt sound like him at all.

Do you have any other source for your claim, diskotron?I think you misunderstood what Q-Bert said in this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T37kgJkxXko

Sorry but he didn't create this mix or even created the layers of scratching ,, this mix was created by grand wizard theodore and the sounds on top of the mix was Dj.Disk ,, this mix was created in 1979 in the bronx and Qbert basically copied it and made everyone believe it was him who created it ,, Qbert is not a mad man but a mad thief he is ,,

This is maybe the best scratch CD ever made. It's mainly Qbert and Mixmaster Mike, but there's a segment with Shortkut (positive) and DJ Disk (I'm pretty sure). The cuts and breaks used are phenomenal, and the artists' tastes in music is what makes this mix so special. Obviously, the scratching, fading, and mixing is superb and totally unique (it's Q and MMM cmon), but there just aren't words to describe how I feel about this album. I'm blown away every time I hear it.

Pretty sure it's just qbert, with a brief cameo by shortkut towards the end, but that's it.

This is insane! To think that this was made over 10 years ago is sweet. Like, all the tracks on this are just insane. They all have funky old school breaks and beats with a very wide range of funny samples and scratching all over the place. The beat often changes during the tracks, but it flows so well it really doesn't matter. Like I said, theres a wide range of samples, just like in Wave Twisters. The Invisibl Skratch Piklz must have been playing with him on some of these tracks because theres different layers of scratching on them. Track 1, 2, 6, 8, and 19 I like the most. Track 17 is just flippin' hilarious, not even kidding.
