What you are about to hear is the result of the seemingly strange idea by bass player and tour coordinator Johannes Sæboe to put one of the least structured jazz bands in Norwegian history in one of the finest recording locations in Europe, bringing an extremely low-key band into the high-end locations of Studio 2, Abbey Road.

Originally intended as a leisurely trip with some recorded rehersal, the stated goal was to record 10 tracks within a 3 day period, for a return to Norway for mixing and mastering......

For reasons somewhat unclear, the quartet got so inspired that by the first day, they had recorded no less than 12 tracks, bringing a quick revision to the original plans, and resulting in no less than 37 recorded songs by the end of the studio session.

Since the same revision concluded that the FZQ had never sounded this good, and probably never will again, the band realized the need to mix and master at the Abbey Road studios, to bring out every faulty note to its highest potential.

Thus resulting in a 75000$ production for a cover band playing for free.
