Deluxe box set including a 22-page, LP-sized booklet. Records and booklet are separated from each other with a loose high quality paper sleeve. Mono version of the stereo edition.

Track listing on labels may look confusing, given the illogical succession of acts, but in fact the labels are numbered 1- 4 and 2 - 3 (check images), which can only be explained by assuming that this was done for users of a record changer. On playback the records are stacked and drop from an axis on the turntable. This way you play number 1 and 2; after both sides were played, you turned both records around on the changer, which would then play number 3 and 4. With the above in mind, the track listing now makes sense again.

The LP-sized book inside the box contains liner notes and translations of the opera text in Italian, French, German and English.
