Here's a good surprise that sounds like GAS music, this production contains impressive dark ambient/musical tracks, the soft muffled beat along with the dark tunes and tape machine sounds is a perfect combination, here's a good Dark soundtracks for rainy/foggy days, movies, video games and books. Though in my opinion there could be more diversity here.
It seems to me that this album is phenomenal in a way. While it's not making haste, it's very likely that you lose track of time while listening to it. Restless yet softly calming. Its structure may seem repetitive to a newcomer of the genre and even for a fan, but if you understand it, you'll never get tired ot it. You'll think of it as atmosphere, not "repetition". It's like an endless misty ocean. Or an abandoned quiet park, wrapped up in slumber. Or a view from a high building at 4 AM, when you look down at a drowsy city, isolated from its sounds by thick glass of a window.. And it's moving and changing slightly every second, just like track titles / artist name suggest. Dissolve in it it completely, with no thoughts and preconceptions, and you'll feel the silent beauty.

Recommended for all music lovers/adventurers, fans of Rod, and those who suffer from insomnia (let it be your lullaby... in my case it works perfectly every time, especially the last Movement).. and for those who are into the nighttime - whether it's strolling through the city or working or simply listening to music..

It's worth noting that there are strong similarities between this album and Gas' repertoire: "repetititve" structure, subdued beats and faint noise, processed string recordings [as far as I can judge], time of producing (mid/late 90's).. and last but certainly not the least - the fact that all these works are marvellous!
This album was released with no artist information. Just a note saying that it was recorded in 1996. Well somehow, somewhere it was revealed that Rod Modell was behind the act. That makes sense because this album is gorgeous. All seven movements as a quiet hiss in the background thats known for his work. Most of the tracks have a faint beat in the background. This is really something special and I dare say even creepy at times. If Rod did more material under this guise then I hope it gets released someday soon!
