Heatmiser - Mic City Sons Mp3

This is a surprisingly good pressing. I've had no prior experience with Plain, however their reputation is terrible across discogs, so I've always been wary of their releases. I found this at a cheap price, so I figured it was worth a try. I came to it with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pressing is clean, with only a few stray crackles here and there, nothing major. The mastering is solid as well; there's no distortion and while I haven't had a chance to side by side it with the CD version, I can safely say it sounds just as good, possibly better. While I don't have an original to compare this 2011 reissue to, I would say if you can find it for a good price - go for it! The original is very pricey at this point, so I would say that this is a really solid alternative.
