Notes
Humph uses three distinct combinations of instruments for this selection of numbers associated with acknowledged giants of jazz in the various areas up to and including the Swing era. Theses are is own regular band, an augmented orchestra with a further six instruments added to his band, and an"experimental" group contrasting a solo trumpet against five clarinets. Happy listening - great record.
