This delivers what the label promises - Berlin meets Detroit. Pacou and Deepchord. Things start out smoking with Radar. Driving rhythm and pace, rich dub chords - it is fantastic. 3:32 A.M. slows down the pace, emphasizes the reverberations - it's a heartbeat and a breath - inhaling and exhaling. Brush Park is uptempo (130 bpm) and hypnotic, even danceable. Now in 2017, it feels like we're far away and lost in a haze of echo for a lot of "dub techno" but this track moves at a good pace. Rotel picks the pace up even more. It's got resonant chords but this is a techno track, solid dancefloor material. Back in the day of the first Deepchord records, this one was right up there with them. It gets your feet moving and it sounds so rich and strong.

The tracks were "outtakes" of the original deepchord sessions. Rod released a small batch of CD-Rs that he gave out to friends at the time. Historically, they belong to the same era like those "dcv" releases.
