Ka
YOU WANT SURF? Then get a load of Impala. Hotrod-spy-surf running on all 8 cylinders and at peak performance. Not a dud in the bunch. Memphis, Tenn., quartet making original and enjoyable music in this sometimes "tastes like chicken" genre. "Wild Night At The Bloody Bucket" sounds as if the ghost of Stevie Ray is present but it's John Stivers tearing it up like he does. Not even California surf bands like the "Mermen" are this good, and they live right on the ocean! 16 tracks -- the last three (bonus tracks) recorded Oct. 1993 at Easley Recording Service engineered by Doug Easley himself.
Yep! Great Cd! The kind of stuff people would expect to hear on a Quentin Tarantino film. Of course, he missed out on this album.
