Anybody experiencing distortion on this album. I just picked a copy and last 3 tracks of Side 1 have some sort of distortion, not consistent but kinda come and goes with high vocals. Anybody else experiencing this issue with this release?

I have this album and the is one issue with it. "Die with your boots on" is incomplete. It just stops at 5.04.82 (I timed it). The album says it runs 5.22 minutes.I am fairly new to records. I remember them as a kid. They were steadily being replaced by cassette tapes though. That being said I can't believe that this happened. Where was quality control when this album was pressed? Is this a common issue with albums? The album sounds great. I am going to get the new reissue with the awesome Eddie Album art. I will keep this as a curiosity.

Any feedback on these BMG/INgrooves reissues? I want to recollect all my old maiden albums but am wondering if tracking down clean 1st presses are still the way to go. Or if this easier route works well.Thanks in advance for any input!

They sound good but the artwork reproduction isnt as good as the sound.

I would. I actually framed/sold all my originals. These copies of the first 8 i have all sounded better. Very quiet and excellent sounding records. I love them.
