these intuitive compositions were created using the field recordings made during my residency at generator projects. i used various methods to explore the hidden music, the sonic architecture of the spaces and structures of the building alongside some of it's contents. The 'onsite' pieces focus on sounds recorded in the building and 'offsite' on sounds captured with hydrophones in the waters of dundee and broughty ferry. the photographs, like the sounds, captured small, overlooked details inside the building, in this case a ladder splattered with paint....
