Undated Varèse Sarabande CD reissue of their 1983 LP (704.120), featuring two concert works composed by John Williams in a contemporary style that, although inspired by the romantic tradition, is considerably different than his usual, neo-romantic style as represented by his film compositions.

A "World Premiere Recording," at least at the time of this release.

Packaging includes an eight-page booklet.

The Concerto for Flute and Orchestra consists of four untitled movements that are played without a break -- these are detailed in the booklet only, and have been entered in the Tracklisting section as an index track with four "Untitled" sub-tracks as per [g12.4.1.] & [g12.13.1.]
