Jürgen Paape - Nord Nord-West Mp3

The whole EP is absolut outstanding, the more i listen these tracks the more i´m fascinated and convinced that paape is a true genius.
I cant see much paralells to tracks from other artists - maybe they have also some mysterierious sounds and are also hypnotic, but not in paape´s way.
A real unique EP.

Without a doubt, 'West' is the standout tune on this EP. While 'Nord' and 'Nord-West' aren't bad, 'West' makes them look really dull.
It starts off with his usual refined beat, then a couple of little synths hint at what's to come, before a killer synth run rolls in.... and it's a damn catchy one too!
From here it progresses in much the same way, building upon it.

Probably one of Jurgen Paape's best productions (along with 'Take This' and the version of 'Weit Wie Noch Nie' on Kompakt Total 3)
