Lowfish - Fear Not The Snow And Other Lo-fiing Objects Mp3

Lowfish's debut, FEAR THE SNOW AND OTHER LO-FIING OBJECTS, hews close to Suction Records' electro and IDM aesthetic, as the low percussion of "Intro" thud along with the oscillations or as the light notes of "Rubber Spider Monkey" or "Sky Rats" creep beside the warmth of "Martin E. Martin."  "Pang" and "Drug the Chicken" gives into a slow, slightly darker chug, while "Braun Clock" offers some industrial breaks.  He allows himself some moments of dreamy blippery on "Fluxus" and "Filth Cat" and cautious whirring on "Schnitz" and "Poke Thru."  A reggae off-beat pops up on "Rossbit" before "Bin Test" ends the album with a merger of the acid oscillations and lighter, triumphal synths. An enjoyable listen, if not particularly memorable or cohesive.
