Awww man..What No review of this classic Mixtape from the heydaze of 1993? Well...This is pure 'memory factory' for me. Purchasing this tape from a record store based in Sutton Arcade in South London. Every track is pure gold, expertly mixed by the master of Intelligent D&B the LTJ BUKEM. Highlights? All of it. London Massive, Bang The Drums, Dubplate, Valley of the shadows etc etc etc. This tape singlehandedly sparked my interest in the genre of ID&B as well as Jungle & Dark Side Drum & Bass. Great days, great memories listening to this on my walkman hanging out & at my mates house. Still got the tape now, warps 'n' all..Ahhh analogue ! GOLD

Fair play chap, I reviewed Yaman 11, but what I put there is equally relevant to all Bukem's Yaman mixes (although I'm not convinced vol 12 was mixed by Bukem...no fireworks or obscure tunes that only him and DJ Trace seemed to possess).Easily the best DJ in terms of depth, consistency, structure and construction of sets. No-one was quite as good. Andy C, Randall (maybe Slipmatt), Peshay and Crystl we're pretty much flawless but none of them put together sets that can touch these.
