Malaris
IHOP is a great song. Psych guitars, and weird sound effects pepper the arrangement, while the ending sounds like Low Rider.
Gold Crown
ihop offers still more proof that one should never skip the EP’s or Singles. The song “ihop” is a surrealistic state of affairs, that utterly calls into question the sanity of Dean Wareham, while “Fuzzy Wuzzy” is about exactly what it appears to be, a young man longing for the one thing young men long for in women; and both can be found on Luna’s Pup Tent release. However, “Words Without Wrinkles” will not show up until the release of “The Days Of Our Nights,” giving the listener both a taste of, and a step into the future.
