I agree this track is fantastic. Yes its not a standard D&B template, but thats why I and others like this so much. Its different and damn fine. If you want to get the crowd going drop this one and twisty it up a bit. Fabs new what he was doing by signing this tune.

Probably some of Lynx's finest work. Absolutely destroyed the dance-floor, which is why it was so big at the time.

The reason this got so jumped on is because it was a big label and hyped by the big players.The tune is ok, i have it. It is original, but only if compared to drum and bass, but there lies the problem-if it doesn't sound at all like drum and bass-guess what its not drum and bass. I think the only reason people who obviously don't know better are calling it drum and bass, is because of the label it has been released on.Rather than call it drum and bass, i would say it is one of those tunes that can compliment many other genres(in a set)-it doesn't really fit into a genre and doesn't have its own genre either-this is the tunes saving grace.

Not really sure what this discussion is about, Disco Dodo is clearly a straight up drum & bass track. Fair play it doesn't conform to your usual standards and ventures into experimental grounds but it's definitely only 1 genre. I'm not even the biggest fan of this tune but let's get the facts right. It's still a killer track on the dancefloor and goes off like a bomb in every club. The fact that this tune still comes up in sets 5 years on from its release shows its integrity. This is Lynx's style - rugged with big heavy kicks. It's a different sound, love it or hate it, but there's no doubting this is quality tunage on a serious system!

True say man, to me it just sounds like 170+ bpm Techno tune! Gotta give credit for originality though
