It is my understanding that this album is a collection of tracks from various tapes and singles.

It is a slow dreamy sort of electronic overture that sounds quite sophisticated yet very subtle. It is indeed on the shadowy side while not really grindingly dark like Scorn or Lustmord, which I really like and go after, by the way.

The fact that original tapes and CD releases by this now defunct group sell for relatively heavy coin, is a good indicator of the quality of the sound, I believe. This particular collection, while not real common, can be had for a reasonable price if you search for it.

Maeror Tri, although long disbanded as a group, will continue to attract listeners for quite awhile, I believe. After I acquired this disc, I found myself searching for more material by this group, and I will continue to do so.
