Himavat is the Hindu god of snow, and the album lends itself well to his element as there is a decidedly rugged Himalayan feel about it. Imagine a cold night devoid of any moonlight. You find yourself huddling under the jagged cliffs of a towering mountain. A mild but biting breeze sweeps along the mountainside, bringing a myriad of the finest of snowflakes gently spraying all over your face before disappearing into the night. Cold sparkles of water melt on your lips as the captivating drones and gentle percussion drive these images into your mind, until the reality gradually disappears from around you and your mind starts wandering into the darkness of the winter night. Grassow at his very best!
