As the strongest track off their PERFECT COLORS album, Mellow's sunny slice of 60s pop, DRIFTING OUT OF SIGHT, gets some mixes on this single. Their "Acoustic Mix," not surprisingly, takes out the layers of haze for a more simple track that lets the sunshine come through stronger, while the instrumental floats like a dream, unburdened by the vocals. It will come as no shock that FC Kahuna turn up the breaks, wiping away any mellowness, though J. Xaverre gets the song back to its roots.
