Got a brand new copy. Skipped well over a dozen times on Side A on first listen, I’m pretty upset. . Side B seems okay

Just got a brand new copy as well. Skipped at least 3 times on Side A.. all during Norman Granz's introductions, but still! It goes Miles D.. right into the applause. Everything else seems to sound okay for me so far. Just odd to me really
