Mint Royale - On The Ropes Mp3

This album is really refreshing. Beats, horns, keyboards and other synths are very well structured and all of these elements give birth to an enjoyable CD.

I am a bit less excited concerning tracks featuring female artists, including "Don't Falter", "Rock And Roll Bar" and "Lonely Girl". I find them a little bit too candy, but it is just my personal point of view. They remain satisfying to listen and they bring a calmer atmosphere which ain't bad at all.

On the contrary, both interludes, the original "Shake Me", "Space Farm" and my favorite "Deadbeat" are just way more danceable (and listenable) than most electronic music made in history (especially nowadays, in the 21st century).

According to the rhythm pace, "On The Ropes" does not reach Fatboy Slim's touch. But in terms of joy, instrumentation and diversity, it's comparable and maybe even better.

A "happy big beat" album with a jazz touch to advise.
