Production on the 2016 Czech RE is pretty muddy - no high or low ends, not well-recorded with vocals being largely garbled and washing out to the background.

I agree. I think this live album over all sounds like shit. lol. Serious. I'm still glad i got the splatter vinyl & the first gold vinyl version. I have never heard the new gold version or actually have never heard the cd. It doesn't make sense that they even put this release out in the first place. Since Graves left the band the only releases i like is the Land Of the Dead 12" & The Horror Xmas 7". I wish they would release the Land Of The Dead 12" versions on CD. when they re-recorded those songs for Devil's Rain they def lost something. I never really cared for The Devil's Rain LP or the new Friday The 13TH 12" although i own all the rare versions just cause i love The Misfits!!!
