Multiple Magenta Mess - Perfidia Mp3

I'm pretty sure that this is in fact http://www.discogs.com/Multiple-Magenta-Mess-Perfidia/release/809139 as I've just got a copy of that release from a knowledgeable seller under that name, and it does have the cat#'s inscriptions in the note above on the runout as with this release.

Still one of my favorite 12"'s, from the great year of 1997. One of Steinbruchel's lesser-known projects. I know nothing about the collaborator (M-dessert). The first side is the winner, to my taste. Track one is something of a proto-schaffel structure, very bouncy and forward-thinking (I still haven't heard anything like it). I always thought Track 2 mixed well with that Autechre song "Second Peng" from the Tri Repetae era. Kind of the same beat structure, but more skeletonized. Side two tracks are more of a 4/4 deal, more of a minimal techno structure. but slower.

Unlike a lot of the other music from the mid-to-late 1990's, this 12" has aged well and sits well within the current Sahko and Alva Noto schools of minimal electronics.
