Notes
Very similar to this Neil Richardson And His Orchestra - Music From The Sensationally Romantic Film: Love Story South African version but with a completely different cover design.
This front cover features a hand drawn image and a flap (bottom left) which appears to be the cover of a book. Once open, a crossword puzzle is revealed on the cover and a portion of a Shakespearean Sonnet on the back of the flap (see image). Upon completion of the crossword (clues listed elsewhere on the cover), answers needed to be listed on a form (format provided on back cover) and the slogan "I LIKE MFP RECORDS BECAUSE................................" completed to enter a competition. Prizes included Hi-Fi systems and "MFP Longplaying records of your choice". Closing date 26th November, 1971.
It is not possible to remove the vinyl without the "book cover" being open as that flap is actually part of the back cover that flaps around onto the front thus sealing the opening.
Verse quoted is from Shakespeare's Sonnet 29, the last six lines, the first of which should read "Yet, in these thoughts my self almost despising," and not "Yet, in these things myself......."
