Mission To Sedna is in my humble opinion a masterpiece of trance. NR usually gets lumped into the Psy/Goa genre, but it's a bit misleading as their style was much more aligned with early Atmos and Son Kite. Progressive melodies, techno-influenced percussion, and a lack of typical psy-trance cliches like space farts and machine gun basslines. Mission To Sedna is a perfect example of this hybrid sound, and is undoubtedly their crowning achievement.

There are so many standout tracks on here, it's hard to pick a favorite. For me, things are basically perfect from Son Of A Bush all the way to the end (only because the first two tracks are a bit of a slow burn). Cloud Sailors is probably the most unique - featuring a fast, psy-trance style bassline and minimal percussion, but with beautiful, airy pads that sound like something out of an Aril Brikha track. Riding The Dragon might be the strongest track in terms of its energy and atmosphere - a personal favorite when I'm DJing this kind of music. But really, everything is top notch and The Missing Moon is a perfect ambient closing to the hour-long romp before it.

While NR's melodies are excellent and very underrated, it's the techno feel that makes these tracks so playable. They all have this chuggy, relentless energy that is made all the better by the beautiful melodies and sound choices sprinkled over the top. Again, it's hard not to make the comparison to Son Kite or Atmos, but NR certainly has their own sound that to me is even more atmospheric than the others. Mission To Sedna is a must own for anyone who appreciates good trance, whether it's classified as "psy" or not.
This album belong surely to the top 10 of psy-Trance. The quality of sound is an exemplary work. The balance between style is also good. The only regret is maybee that this album doesn't have a vinyl pressing. If you're not a Psy/Goa trance addict but you like this style, I highly recommended this one.
