Notes
A single "box set" consists of 2 CD-books, each book is a set of 10 discs: a collector's edition "red" and a backup set "black & white". The "red set" has a full color insert. The "black & white" set has a 12 page B&W booklet of liner notes.
Why 2 CD-books? This was before downloading was really common and so the "B&W" set was to toss in the car and play, and the "Red" set was to leave on the shelf in the house.
Both books are numbered/signed/dated on the inside label as well as uniquely numbered on the outside of each box. Studio equipment was cut up into 500 pieces and every box was bundled with one of those pieces. Additionally, many but not all boxes included additional personal items from the artist such as original hand-written lyric sheets or original concert posters.
The spelling on the DVD titles is intentional. The 'o's are all moved as part of a puzzle.
400 sets were original released for sale (#001-#399, #500) and are sold out. Approximately 100 sets were archived for possible future release (approximately #400-#499) but ended up being damaged in the Calgary flood of 2013 and will not be released for sale.
There are 4 Easter Eggs hidden on the DVD. The clues are on the print of the DVD to help remember that say "back down, back up, then left" Here's one Easter Egg:
Go to "Rock Against Racism"
Enter
Select "Back"
Press Down Button and a new "O" appears
Enter
Select "Back" on the new page
Press Up Button and a new "O" appears
Click LEFT ONCE and the "O" disappears
Enter
You'll see Ohama's first meeting with Veronica Vasicka at Minimal Wave, and then Veronica, Marc, Johannes, Ohama and Tona driving around NY talking about equalizing music.
Important note - the videos contain multiple audio streams. If you only hear music, you can switch audio tracks and hear talking. Two of the audio streams are 'minus mixes' of old ohama tracks.
