On this record the Orchestra of GERSHON KINGSLEY presents modern light music with classic pop-characteristics. As well from point of view of arrangement as from interpretation, this splendid stereo-production is remarkable. Attention is drawn to the full strings-sound entering here and there into a "whispering conversation" with the contrasting electro-guitar.

It is—all things considered—a light music production worth hearing; for all its modern arrangement it does intentionally without nowadays' "noisy" spectaculars.

This production shows that GERSHON KINGSLEY, the composer of POPCORN, is master of this kind of "métier", too.

SIDE 2
In this production ARMAND VERSAILLES tries successfully to play up a baroque music-style with a modern touch. Listening to this splendid light music produced in stereo is a fascinating event.

Impressive arrangements and solo-instruments (for instance harpsichord), which are often played in contrast to the strings-chorus, make these recordings full of variation.

Lyric character has the title of " L o v e "; especially fascinating is its violin-solo-part played in a masterly manner.
