Parallax made a bit of a false start with this maxi. Push For The Love Of Life has a thin sound and not much going on besides dull bassdrum knocking, repetitive sampling, and exhausted Rottweiler rapping.
The two mixes besides the Savage Mix leave away the vocals, yet the Valentine Mix manages to be the most unnerving of all three.
No Concept on the other hand is quite a nice breakbeat industrial tune at a little slower speed, and here even the vocals fit in well. The guitar scratching from the beginning of Faith No More's Crack Hitler has been nicely looped. This tune sounds a bit more like the ones on the band's second maxi, the Bullet-proof-zero EP, but whereas here a drum machine does its job on all the four tracks, a drummer was installed for the second release (which should also be their last).
