Video

Windbearer
Photek puts together an atypical house/dubstep mix with a very downtempo style. It earns points in my book because it's simply different from everyone and everything else. Originality in dance music is grossly under-appreciated. The mix finishes exceptionally strong with several highlight tracks towards the end (check out the last track in the mix, an exclusive). It's a really good mix - almost brilliant - and I would have to say not only is it the best DJ Kicks of 2012 but it's one of the best mixes of any kind this year.
