The Kezia 10th Anniversary Audiophile Edition is a deluxe 180 gram double album packaged in gatefold jackets with spot varnish, metallic ink and custom "five soldiers" die cuts. Remastered specifically for this vinyl re-release by Joao Carvalho (who also mastered the original).

The spine reads "Protest The Hero - Kezia - 10 Year Edition". Track B3, Blindfolds Aside, is not listed on the release.

"We wanted the Kezia 10 Year Edition to be an 'audiophile listen'. I took the original masters and recorded them onto analog tape. I then captured the tape and enhanced the "analog tape goodness" with a vinyl appropriate equalization (EQ) curve. This aided in maximum dynamic playback for you, the listener. Thanks for the heads up on that vinyl off their website carrottopso! It's the best sounding version of Kezia you're going to find. The whole layout of the gatefold is beautiful too. If you love this album it's a must have!

This remaster sounds absolutely fantastic! Listening to this record was like hearing the album for the first time all over again. The "hidden" piano intro before the first track is included, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Note that track B3, "Blindfolds Aside," is not listed in the track list on the sleeve, but it does of course appear on the record as it should. Slightly disappointed in that, as Blindfolds is my favourite track, but it's a minor mistake on what otherwise is a flawless production.

Sounds absolutely fantastic, for fans of this album this is well worth it. The other reissue of Kezia that came out in 2015 (red splatter) sounds nowhere near as good as this release, it looks cool but sounds fairly bad. The packaging is beautiful too, gatefold with die cuts on the inside of prison bars which reveal the printed inner sleeves beneath, didn't realize how limited it was when I bought it at a show, great release!
