It's great, just buy it already. If I wasn't poor I would.

'Day-Glo' has a cool bassline, wicked understated bass and clonky toms. Used to get played a lot in Nottingham, Sheffield, Bradford and Leeds etc.

Moon Turns The Tide; some talented Dutch lads take Chicago Acid, add a very European spacey existentialist slant to the original style - the soundtrack of the Gods.

The Seven Stars was made after eddy, Eric & Gert went to their label manager to let him hear some new tracks. It was House Of Venus's Dish & Tell which later on Prince took samples from for a track. He liked it but found the tracks to laidback and wanted the next Ep to be a little harder. Gert was feeling very offended by the comment of his masterpiece Dish & Tell. When gert came home he was furious and took a seat behind his keyboard. He thought: so you want rough ill give you rough! When the melody was finished he was relieved and the track was born. That night he had a dream about a six star constellation standing high in the sky. All of a sudden a seventh star was there. And that became the title: The Seven Stars. It came out the moment when the second wave of house music came. Seven Stars is build up from samples from gert's former rockband before he produced house music. If Seven Stars wouldn't be a succes they would form another project under a different name. The track still sounds fresh today and is still played by dj's like Michael Mayer and Ricardo Villalobos.

This was a big favourite at the Edinburgh club Pure in the early 90's. Nice big noises and loads of different filters to keep the track really interesting. Could still drop into a techno/house set now and get a brilliant reaction. Everyone serious technohead should own a copy.
