Notes

This is an actual radio broadcast that has been edited - most of the music played during the broadcast has been edited out. This is the infamous broadcast where the DJ Roby Yonge reports that the Beatle, Paul McCartney, might be dead.
This aircheck includes all the details and reports that were calling in during the broadcast.

On October 21, 1969, Yonge went on the air with the Paul McCartney 'death" rumor, having heard the rumor from WKNR-FM (Detroit) radio personality Chris Randall. Stating that he had already been fired and that at 12:39 AM, would not be "cut" because there was noone around, Yonge began to speculate on rumors circulating about Paul's possible death. Callers lit up the station switchboard. It took an hour and a half before WABC program director Rick Sklar got Les Marshak into the booth to relieve Yonge.

The music that was cut is as follows:
Honky Tonk Women - Rolling Stones (between 1f / 1g)
This Girl's A Woman Now - Gary Puckett & The Union Gap (between 1g / 1h)
Theme From "Exodus" - Ferrante & Teichen (between 1h / 1i)
We Can Work It Out - The Beatles (between 1j / 1k)
Easy To Be Hard - Three Dog Night (between 1n / 1o)
You've Lost That Loving Feeling - Dionne Warwick (between 1t / 1u)
And When I Die - Blood, Sweat & Tears (between 1x / 1y)
