If you have a powerful subwoofer with low bass extension, this recording can serve as a great "test drive". Crank it up and you will hear jarring sounds that approximate thunder, underwater explosions, and earthquakes. Given these sounds it's definitely a different atmosphere than usually comes to mind when using the term "ambience", and thereby makes for a surprisingly engaging listen.
