Previously encountered via an interesting, but all too short, cassette called SAMADHI, Rüdiger Gleisberg is one of the most original synth talents in Germany nowadays. His music is predominantly spacious and melodic with a classical touch, often with piano or cello like sounds to the fore, and with a compositional style that is very human, rich and superbly arranged. Rüdiger has the talent for putting emotion into his music, restraint where needed, and also the knack for putting the unexpected together. A very nice album.
