Sebastian Bach - Abachalypse Now Mp3

Well.. Let me start off by saying I love Sebastian Bach. I think he's one of the great voices in rock music for the last 20+ years. So when I saw this 2lp vinyl set I was stoked. Having been lucky enough to see Bas with Skid Row, and solo many times, I know he can bring it live and expected nothing less from this set.

Well the bad news is that this set just isn't very good as far as audio quality. Absolutely one of the worst pressings I own. Tons of surface noise and seemingly the worst audio source I've ever heard. What's the point of 180 gram vinyl if its going to sound this bad?

I don't blame Sebastian. I blame Back On Black. Every pressing I own from this label sounds like crap. I truly appreciate that they are bringing some very hard to find metal back to vinyl, but take some pride in your work man. I can understand if this was a super rare, hard to find release that was first released 30 years ago. Master tapes can be hard to track down and even if you do find them, it doesn't mean they were taken care of. But this release in particular? All it would have taken was a decent mix direct from the soundboard and a half decent mastering. Pretty sad to say I don't recommend you get this. I wish I could get my money back.
